Investment Week: Tumelo and CIRCA5000's pioneering voting deal

Key investment publication Investment Week has written about Tumelo’s “game changing” investor-voting arrangement with fund manager CIRCA5000.

By adopting Tumelo’s pioneering voting technology, CIRCA5000’s newly launched impact suite of funds has become the first UK ETF range to offer direct shareholder voting, it points out.

The coverage underlines an important part of the voting agreement and a crucial part of Tumelo’s technology: that fund managers can, if they wish, "override any pass-through votes on decisions that affect their ability to meet their fiduciary duty".

Back in February, Investment Week also wrote about Tumelo’s white paper on pass-through voting, saying the technology will help boost shareholder democracy among fund investors.
