Stuart East
I’m the Senior Product Manager for the retail squad. We look after Tumelo's voting platform for private investors.

What challenges you most within this role?
I work closely with Design and Engineering to build products that solve customer problems and align with company goals. Being responsible for the whole product lifecycle, from strategy to discovery, design and build, can be challenging.
What do you enjoy most about working at Tumelo?
I really enjoy the transparency and the sense of empowerment at Tumelo. Internal communications are really clear, which keeps everyone aligned and up to date with what’s happening across the business. It’s also far more inclusive, and allows people to support or challenge things outside of your immediate domain. Our squad is truly empowered; we aren't given solutions to build, we’re given well-defined problems to solve.
Outside of Tumelo, what are you passionate about?
Outside of work I spend most of my time entertaining my 2-year-old son. Any free time I do have is usually spent playing sport, walking in the countryside, or cooking for friends.
Laura Cloherty
I’m the Workplace Experience Manager leading on initiatives that strengthen our culture and community.

What challenges you most within this role?
This role, more than any other in my career to date, keeps me on my toes! My previous role was at a huge organisation, where the pace was slower and decisions took longer. I’ve been at Tumelo since there were around 15 of us and have seen the business grow rapidly. Keeping pace with such a talented, driven and exceptional bunch of people definitely challenges me.
What do you enjoy most about working at Tumelo?
Apart from the brilliant people, it’s the variety of work and the flexibility and autonomy that we have. I am a mum of two, so this approach has meant that I can both grow my career and spend a ton of quality time with my kids. Many working parents don’t get that privilege so I’m hugely grateful for that.
Outside of Tumelo, what are you passionate about?
I have two children under five and they are both giant rays of sunshine in my life, but take up the vast majority of my personal time! You can probably find me at my happiest though when on a beach in the winter.
