Tumelo's end of proxy season review 2026

Last year we reported that asset owners using pass-through voting through Tumelo voted differently from their fund's default on at least one proposal at 90% of meetings. That figure came from a small group of early adopters, and we said at the time that the real test would be whether it held as voting choice reached a much wider group of investors.

This season it did. Three times as many asset owners and investor groups voted through our platform between 1 March and 30 June 2026 as in the same period last year, and the divergence rate was 89.2%, compared with 89.5% in 2025.
