Tumelo is delighted to announce the appointment of Jennifer Walmsley as Head of Stewardship Solutions.

Jennifer brings more than 20 years of experience across investment management, issuer engagement, regulation and consultancy. She previously led the voting and engagement team at Hermes EOS and investor engagement at the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), which is responsible for the UK Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes. As a consultant she has advised major asset owners and asset managers around the world on their stewardship strategy, policy and implementation. She also brings an asset owner's perspective as a member of the investment committee of the National Trust, the largest conservation charity in Europe.

In this new role, she will work directly with asset managers and asset owners as they transition to fully customised proxy-voting policies and research, using ProxyBeacon, Tumelo's AI-powered stewardship platform. Jennifer will support clients to design their own voting policies, build tailored research reports, and embed the ProxyBeacon platform into their investment and stewardship processes.

Georgia Stewart, CEO of Tumelo, said: "Jennifer has spent her career making stewardship practical and credible. Her judgement and her standing in the industry will help our clients take real ownership of how they vote and how they account for those decisions. We are thrilled for her to be joining us at this stage in Tumelo's growth."

Jennifer Walmsley said: "Asset managers and asset owners increasingly want more control over their proxy voting, and greater value from their stewardship activities. Tumelo is building the tools that make that possible, and I am really excited to be joining the team. I look forward to partnering with clients as they design an approach that truly reflects their own priorities."
